$200 tuition for four classes.

(This four week course will be offered each month with alternate instructors.)



Work with the fundamental techniques of drawing and learn new skills! Topics include gesture drawing, line quality, sighting and measuring, and value structure. Learn to develop a finished drawing working from life and experiment with different drawing materials to invent original compositions.

All levels of experience are welcome. Most materials are provided. 



Jess Worby is a cartoonist, illustrator, visual artist, and teacher at schools like St. John's University. He specializes in teaching the creation of visual narratives that establish a unique personal voice. His work has been honored by Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, and Best American Comics, and featured on sites such as Huffington Post, Buzzfeed, and Wired. Clients include The New York Times, McSweeney's, Koyama Press, and The Brooklyn Rail.
