Figure Drawing with Color
(July 2- July 23)

Four sessions on Sunday afternoons
2pm - 4pm

Upcoming dates:

  • July 2 - July 23, 2017
    (July 2, 9, 16, 23)

$140 tuition plus $40 model fee for four sessions

Drawing from the live model, we'll expand on the basic tenets of gesture, line quality, sighting and measuring, value, anatomy and portraiture with charcoal, inks and color materials. We'll explore the figure in motion, working the gamut from quick gestures to sustained poses, focusing on depictions of energy and expression with our mark making.  Additional time with the model is available, the long pose figure lab commences immediately following class.

Students will be required to purchase basic drawing materials.
