Urban Sketching Maymester

Urban Sketching Maymester

Five sessions on Saturdays
11am- 2pm

  • May 11 - June 8, 2019
    (May 11, 18, 25, June 1, 8)

$250 tuition for five sessions

Share the world around you as an urban sketcher! Document life as it is really lived, in your own personal style. We'll cover techniques for capturing all manner of subjects and situations, as well as introduce the community and traditions of urban sketching.

Will include some classroom work, but a lot of our time will be spent outside of the studio, exploring the neighborhood with our sketchbooks.

Primarily for newcomers to on-location drawing, but will also be useful for more experienced sketchers who value a structured workshop environment.
